Vitamin B12
Alicia Reeves, NH:
This summer I found myself suddenly out of energy, I had no appetite and in general felt myself worn out. The problem was that about four months ago I had terrible pneumonia and I was extremely afraid that the disease was about to come back and I will have to go through all that hell again. So I ran to my doc to do the blood tests. And when it was ready my doc told me that I lacked vitamin B12. It was also a consequence of me being seriously ill for a long time, but that was not that scary as a new outburst of pneumonia. Actually vitamin B12 deficiency may also be rather dangerous. It somehow affects the quality of your blood, I don't actually remember in what way. But in my case the situation was not too dramatic, I was simply put on Vitamin B12 daily and in two months I felt absolutely ok again. It is amazing how we depend on the food we take. After the course on vitamin B12 my doc told me to be careful with what I eat and consume more seafood, nuts and dairy in order to maintain healthy level of vitamin b12. I do and I feel so much better! Our body is an amazing mechanism that requires lots of proper care and attention.
Mike Button, Grand Rapids:
I used to be a vegetarian. Or better to say it was a fashionable trend to be a vegan when I was a student and I followed it without too much thinking and evaluating all the pros and cons. So I played that game for about five years and then one day I found myself at hospital as I fainted on the street. After a comprehensive health screening I was told that my weight was below the norm, my blood tests results were far from being good and there were certain problems with my heart. I was frightened to death and then when we had a discussion with my doctor and I told him that I was a vegan he asked me how I made up the deficiency of vitamin b12. I couldn't answer his question as I was not aware that I needed to take some special efforts, for me being a vegan was enough to stay healthy. But my doctor told me that my condition was rather poor due to the fact that being a vegan I deprived myself from many essential vitamins, in particular vitamin b12. I was prescribed pills to make up the deficiency and after the course of treatment I felt myself extremely different. I decided that I was fed up with trendy eating habits and got back to full-scale nutrition with meat and all other products. Now I am happy and healthy but sometime ago my health was restored with the help of vitamin B12.
Jason Peterson, Drummondville :
I take different multivitamins all my life, usually twice per year - in spring when our body needs support after long winter and in fall I order to get ready for the winter and lack of sunshine and fruits. But sometimes I take additional vitamins to support these or that functions of my body. And this year I had to take vitamin B 12 as my doctor informed me about deficiency of this vitamin that was revealed through a blood test. Indeed I felt not really good and I noticed that my memory worsened. After a month on vitamin B12 things changed for the better. After that issue I consulted a dietary specialist and he explained me what products should be included into your menu in order to maintain the proper level of vitamin B12. Now I not only add more products that are rich in vitamin B12 into my family nutrition list, but also pay attention to the multivitamins we take in order to make sure, there's enough of this vitamin in them. I usually order all the vitamins I buy as well as vitamin B12 at this online drugstore and I find it to be very convenient and cost-effective. Internet shopping is a great time-saver, indeed. The most important thing is that the products sold here are of exceptional quality.
