God I can't even think about the pain I have been experiencing last year. It happened all of a sudden, I just sat down and then it was already impossible to get up. My knee was bursting from pain. I am a 34 year old female and I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis about 4 years ago. At that time I was suffering from severe stiffness in my shoulders and my back. After a week of increasing discomfort I found myself completely unable to turn my neck. That was scary and I was really upset. Feldene was an amazing change for the better. It takes away the pain in a matter of minutes and I feel no more discomfort in my joints. Besides the doctor says it prevents the disease from spreading. Before I started on Feldene I developed fear of abrupt movements, heavy things, lasting load on my back. And now I feel myself as if there was no arthritis at all - I can run, I can stretch and lift comparatively heavy things. I am still careful as I understand that the disease hasn't gone completely but I am much more enthusiastic as now I know there are medications that could really help.

My doctor put me on Feldene for my ankylosing spondylitis about half a year ago. Before that I have been on other NSAID meds but Feldene is absolutely amazing. It helps as no other medication. My previous NSAID drug even caused me fatigue and diarrhea. As if my disease provided not enough problems for me... Feldene relieves my pain and makes me so much freer without causing additional problems. I haven't noticed any side effects during this 6 months that I am on it. Ankylosing spondylitis is a serious musculoskeletal disorder but contemporary medicine has gone that far that we have medications like Feldene that help if not reverse time, then at least considerably slow down the degenerative processes in out bones. I am 65 years of age and I no longer have that natural power in my body to resist illnesses and disorders. And I think that if it weren't for Feldene in a year or so I could find myself in a wheelchair. But I am sure I will stay active for a long time due to this wonderful medication.
