I'm buying this for my son.. I have to say he is doing much better in school and overall. Do you guys know if he should stay on it forever??

My son was prescribed with Strattera to treat his adhd. Prior to that our family doc prescribed him with several other meds. They seemed to be effective at first but then the symptoms returned. As for Strattera, it has been very effective with no noticeable side effects. It's now almost six years since he started taking Strattera and I it's possible now to take him off the meds. Hope everything will be fine!

I am 23 years old and I live in Canada. When I was 15 my parents started giving me Strattera as it was difficult for me to study and communicate due to my hyperactivity. This medication helped me study well and enter a high school. When I was 20 I decided it was time for to stop taking Strattera and I did it. Since that time I had no problems with concentration and attention, so I think Strattera did its job perfectly well!

I was afraid that during this time I got addicted to the med and won't be able to go on without it, but last month I broke off and still have no problems. I absolutely love Strattera as it helped me greatly when I needed it and it let me go when I was ready to try stimulant-free life. I am a normal human being now, not an anxious girli used to be. I strongly recommend strattera to kids who suffer from adhd.

We can see right away if he hasn't taken his drug and it is very effective provided he follows the instructions.
