Last fall my husband started complaining of strange sensations in hois ear, but he was reluctant to go to a doctor. When he started losing hearing we went to a hospital and the doctor there diagnosed him with severe ear infection. The doctor said it was too late for amoxicillin and prescribed my husband with Omnicef. After three or four days of treatment he started getting better. The sharp pain he had disappeared almost immediately and hearing started to get back. All this together with absence of any side effects makes Omnicef an ideal medication for its purpose. I'd definitely recommend it.

Omnicef is the only antibiotic I can give to both of my children without any fear when they have ear infections. What is especially convenient is that it is a one dose a day medicine. Some people complain of diarrhea but I haven't noticed any side effects at all. The symptoms are taken away immediately when the treatment begins. It is very important whet it's about kids. Definitely would recommend this antibiotic
